LBC are pleased to continue their sponsorship of Erith, Woolwich & Dartford Eagles Football Club, a community organisation for all age groups.
This extremely popular community football club now has three adult teams and a youth section which continues to expand.
Over the last year the first team have seen semi-professional players join the squad (a rarity for a Sunday league team), purely because of the fun aspect of the club and its family orientated nature. They also won their third final in three consecutive seasons and again achieved promotion.
EWD Eagles Blues were recently promoted.
EWD Eagles Reds (3rd team) embark on their first season. Currently two wins from two games in the league.
The Eagles recently held a Youth awards ceremony with parents and children enjoying a fun day with lots of food, drink and games.
The Adults Awards Ceremony was an extra special event as it marked Jatinder Phlora’s (LBC Surveyor) 50th Goal for the club with Jatinder receiving a 50th goal award from his father.
One of the clubs youth team has also been scouted for Chelsea Under 10s.
