London Building Control is proud to have provided Building Control advice for this new 8-bed, Perinatal Unit at Wonford House, Exeter which incorporates day spaces, treatment facilities and office accommodation for the Community Outreach Team. First-floor accommodation consists of family visitor flats for families not living locally. The design balances the needs of creating a homely and non-institutional feel with technical standards.

“LBC have taken our eco-build (timber frame, straw infill, steeply sloping site), easily in their stride; we have been impressed by their pertinent questions and immensely helpful ‘can do’ attitude.
