We have recently restructured our Major Projects Team, to provide a designated team of Registered Building Inspector Plan Checkers and Surveyors with RBI status to class 3G/H. The expertise of the team spans all sectors of construction from domestic to complex multi-million-pound commercial developments.
Major Projects include:
- volume sites with 10 plus dwellings,
- complex commercial low-rise buildings (including care homes, hospitals, schools etc),
- high rise commercial buildings including those over 18m, non-standard construction projects, apartment blocks up to 18m, and
- large complex dwelling houses.
The Major Projects Team provide Clients with:
- Early project assessment to ensure compliance and avoid costly errors.
- Confirming the mandatory Fire officer consultations and engagement at the start of your project to eliminate project delays.
- Designated Design Team Meetings to provide guidance on all aspects of building control, including best practice.
- Site Inspection including pre-start, intermediate and pre-final to make sure the project meets building regulations and is in line with proposed plans.
- Compliance – A consistent approach to meeting the Building Regulations.
